Most bizzare sackings?
For me it was the manager of Hammarby in 2001. They unexpectedly won the league but the board sacked the manager for playing defensive football.

Re: Most bizzare sackings?
me on FIFA
2 trebles in 2 seasons.
3 games in hand (4 points off the top) and I get sacked
disgraceful.

Re: Most bizzare sackings?
Look at Jozef Wojciechowski. Since he became Polonia Warszawa owner in 2005 or 2006 (don't remember) he has sacked 15 or 16 managers.
Arguably the current best foreign coach in Poland and former Barcelona star, Bakero was manager of Polonia and led them to the top of the table unbeaten after something like 5 or 6 games, then lost a match in a last minute penalty, and was sacked. Though granted Wojciechowski didn't like him very much. Now, Bakero is coach of former champions Lech Poznan and led them to UEFA round of 16.
And even funnier is Wojciechowski appointed Pawel Janas ( for reference, this is the guy that said we have 200 strikers in Poland of the same quality as Podolski, coached and failed as Polish manager and has managed to relegate a couple clubs from the Ekstraklasa) as manager and fired him a month later. Now they copied Wisla and signed a Dutch Sports director and manager in Theo Bos, who formerly coached ADO Den Haag. Let's see how long he lasts...

George Burley at Hearts.
I reckon they would of broke the Old Firm dominance that year. They were top of the league and going well. Even if they didn't win the league, they'd still of finished Top 2

Also, Ronnie Moore (is that his name, Rotherham manager?)
When he was at Tranmere and he got them 2 points of playoffs and he got sacked. Now look at them.
