He's joining. According to the BBC, his paperwork has been completed and he'll be on the bench at West Brom on Saturday.

Yeah, but you're allowed to bring in an emergency keeper, which is what they're doing.

He's injured and free agents like Rei said can come in at anytime or have a longer window.. either way he can still kick out failmunia

@Rei, there is a registration window starting from this season. Free agents can join clubs but they'd be ineligible for Premier League matches. Or atleast that is how I understand it. Unless your allowed to reregister in the case of getting an emergency keeper.

Man City did it as well last season with Fulop.

That's pretty much what I said. Also, when signing an emergency keeper, it's a lot easier to sign someone who, firstly, isn't injured, and a keeper that isn't currently at a club, so it's a lot easier to negotiate to get him to the club.

That was last season. There was no registration last season.

I can see the idea of the rules being bent a bit in the allowance of an emergency keeper by the FA though.

Free agents can sign and play. No idea why it is allowed because like you say they need to be registered.

No Polska, it was at the start of this season. We have registration in the football league too.

He's a cheap, experienced player who's better to have on the bench than some youth player that would have immense pressure put on him.

Anyways, don't see how this can turn out bad for Arsenal. I remember Jens was great as stopping penalties. It'll be interesting to see how he is playing now. Don't see why Wenger would resign him though if he wasn't up for it.

Id like to see him start as #1 but I doubt he will

Thing that confuses me is Lehmann hates Almunia.. might be a bit of a stir up there.
