Udinese finished 15th last season in Serie A.......and the Premier League has greater strength in depth....there's some decent teams down at the bottom and tbh these Italians teams don't have the same quality all over the pitch that the better Premier League teams do.....even if they have a few decent attackers (who are mostly unproven at the top level)

You're the one who said Spurs are a wank team facepalm. They're better than all these teams, probably the same as Napoli.

    So have Spurs though.

No way Palermo are better, Napoli on current form are about the same and the rest are probably a bit worse.

Spurs just beat Milan who are top of Serie A so what does that say? Spurs had injuries as well tbh so I don't accept "zomg no Pirlo/Cassano they would smash Spurs".

I didnt say they are better (except for my misleading title Smile ), but they could easily beat tottenham or at least push them to the edge.
Also pirlo is just as important to ac milan as xavi is to barca, alonso to madrid. He IS the nucleus of that side

Well that is really how your title makes it sound......but sure because even Wolves pushed Spurs Laughing.

Spurs were missing Bale for all of 1st leg + most of 2nd who is in a game like that as important as any player. Also Modric for most of 1st leg who is pretty much as big a loss as Pirlo.

Milan beat Napoli 3-0 recently at the San Siro and Spurs beat Milan 1-0 at the San Siro.

little cavani, lavezzi, miccoli, pastore, hamsik, hernanes, sanchez, di natale etc are no match for the world class epl superstar defenders such as christoph berra and ian evatt who play at the much higher level of the epl and thus are much better

the technical level of epl is also incredibly fascinating, technical brilliance and artistry shown by legendary players such as ryan shawcross, karl henry, lee cattermole and the "bulgarian beastifier" stilyan petrov. these players of such class do not exist in italy and if they do, its only for clubs like internazionle for sure

just look at the amazing depth of the epl, beastly players everywhere like jonathon spector and manual da costa also, their agents must be applauded for their fantastic work in getting their clients professional contracts as it would not of beeing possible outside england Palermo, Napoli, Lazio or Udinese > Tottenham. - Page 3 207657

Players outside the top 4 in the Premier League could get into top 4 sides too.....it's not that surprising.

Mauro is just being Mauro. Italy has more dirty players than England and they're not all just at Inter.

Stoke have an effective game plan, they do without big shot technical players and would be a challenge for Napoli so who cares whether Whitehead on his own isn't better.

the bulgarian beastifier is nothing more than a pension-chasing power walker who has a better chance of getting hit by a flying wombat than being able to sprint for more than 10 metres. and i thought serie a was slow, that was until i saw the might bulgarian in action. im not surprise that aston villa fans do not like him anymore

effective in only being able to be 3 points above relegation zone? no no no, effective long ball would be champions league chasing bilbao, not hoof and hope stoke, of course stoke fans would not want a pastore, they probably would not even want kaka or sneijder in that team according to you as they are not good at running around in midfield chasing scraps for tactical mastermind like tony pulis

Wouldn't say they're world class yet.

This is on the standards that players like Bale and Wilshere aren't world class (according to this forum)

another funny thing when i was watching epl highlight show when they were saying hitzlsperger is one of the best midfielders in england lol

amazing a player that injured for 6 months still able to walk into an epl first XI, for such a high level, is amazing that he is considered as such but when he was at lazio his nickname was "lumaca-uomo"

Cavani, Hamsik, Di Natele, Pastore, Hernanes are definetly world class, miccoli is aswell just does not get the reconition he deserves. Well if bale and wilshere arent world class or are not near the edge then something is wrong with some people Laughing

some people just have different perception of world class, some people would say any international cap player is world class player, other will say any player playing at champions league level is world class but for me world class i only classify for top 5 or 6 players in a position so is difficult to say which is world class and which is not

for me world class is like messi, xavi, iniesta, etoo etc but player like pastore and hernanes, these guys can play for any team and it only takes some mroe exposure to being considered world class. even miccoli can play for any team his techniques and versatility is just to good but because he is blackmarked by figc he will never get any big recognintion except those who watching him

if miccoli had 40 or 50 extra international caps and was on good terms with lippi in juventus he would not even be playing in palermo right now he would be making millionaires and winning trophiess but his situation does not happen to all players

I know Cavani beasted this season but I can see why Spurs didn't buy him...Cavani looked like a gamble because at the World Cup he looked out of depth.

Hitzlsperger is good but one of the best in England? That's stupid he's only been back a few games....but he's got experience and those monster shots.... He only played 6 games for Lazio so unfair to have an opinon based on that.

suarez had terrible world cup, well below expectations considering his ability and possibly being outshine by forlan but look at him beasting now for liverpool. plus cavani did not play all the time to and was injured before the tournament but he is a beast

hitzlespreger is one of the most limited players i ever seen play top level football, he has a good "cannon shot" but everything else is so bad, he is basically a white nigel reo coker with good shooting ability

also i am just having a wild guess but i doubt i would be much off, but at least 40 of those 50 caps were substitue appearances, owen heargreaves style but even hargreaves was much much much superior player albeit different style of play
