    Fabregas hasn't been that great this season Surprised

    Not just this Barcelona game, whenever I see him he doesn't seem at the top of his game like last season when he was on another level.

    Modric has had a few injuries problems but on his game he's fantastic....probably better than this season's Fabregas but not last's.

    Well Hudders is class as I was talking to Blackskar about, I do reckon it's close between Hudders and Song.

    But Hudders as been out for too long Dry Smile

    Even if we are, it still will not be for a long while yet. So we are gonna be the top side in North London before we move (if we move).. You do realise Arsenal moved to North London? so we wouldn't be the first team to move.
    First we entered your territory now we are taking it Tottenham Hotspur vs Ac Milan | The 2nd leg | KO 19:45 PM - Page 11 70955

    You're only taking it because people in the area won't help us to build the stadium there so moving is the only option. At first I was against the move I then changed my mind because we need to get bigger attendances to get more revenue to pay higher wages than what we are currently doing, but I wasn't calling Levy shit, he has done wonders for us. Hell if he didn't suggest VDV to Harry, we wouldn't have Rafa right now! I firmly believe Levy knows what he is doing and I trust him 100%.
    He stated in a interview tottenham need to move out of NL to become a bigger club. This suggests that arsenal are stopping Tottenham from becoming a big club in NL Very Happy

    It's not Arsenal stopping us Tottenham Hotspur vs Ac Milan | The 2nd leg | KO 19:45 PM - Page 11 58503 It's the fact we cannot build a big enough stadium to get higher attendances, which = more money and revenue, which = higher wages can be paid than our current wage limit that we have (which has stopped us from being in debt and paying more than what we have) and that = better players playing for us, which in the long run = becoming a 'bigger' club
    Oh well Enfield Town will be our only North london derby now Sad

    I'll do it.

    Szczesny = Gomes - both brilliant shot stoppers, Szczesny is new on the scene and made one MAJOR mistake, Gomes is just awful at coming out.

    Sagna >> Corluka - no explanation needed

    King > Djourou but King is never playing.

    Vermaelen = Dawson

    Clichy > Assou-Ekotto - Both prone to a mistake or two but Clichy is better all round (apart from shooting) laugh

    Song > Huddlestone and Palacios, doesn't matter which one.

    Fabregas > Van Der Vaart

    Modric > Wilshere - Wilshere's still new on the scene so he'll be eclipsing him soon.

    Walcott > Lennon - based on this season

    Nasri > Bale - Obviously people bum Bale but Nasri is better.

    Van Persie > Tottenham'a strike force.

    Fabregas = Modric - No.
    Nasri = Van der Vaart - No. Pfa player of the year will prove this hopefully
    Walcott = Lennon - No.
    Vermaelen = Dawson - Maybe havent seen verm for so long
    Song = Huddlestone - No.
    Wilshere = Bale? ('?' because he isn't the same type of player but is incredibly important to us as is Wilshere to you) No point comparing
    Sagna = Corluka (he ain't as good or as pacey as Sagna but he does the job and I believe next year it'll be Kyle Walker) - LOL no.
    Van Persie is the one real type of player you have that we don't, we need a top striker like him to be honest to put the chances away.

    Maybe haven't seen Dawson for long? Vermaelen is class I won't deny it, but so is Dawson. I'm not saying we have better players, I'm just saying we have players that are on equal terms. I dunno how you can say 'no' to Modric and van der Vaart either, have you not seen them play at all?

    Fabs better then Modric Neutral

    Modric is class, but Fabregas is on another level to most CM's.

    I'd say Nasri and VDV have both been pretty equal based on this season. Although I think Nasri is better overall.

    Walcott is better then Lennon IMO

    Song is better then Hudders

    Wilshere and Bale are 2 completely different players

    Sagna is miles better then Corluka Neutral

    I didn't say Corluka was better, I said he does the job for us and Kyle Walker will be our future RB and IMO has the potential to be England's RB (whether he fulfills that potential or not is another matter).

    I did say Wilshere and Bale were different players, but who was I gonna pick quality wise? Niko? Pienaar? JENAS?! had to be Bale Laughing

    Huddelstone is class on his day and IMO should be ahead of the likes of Barry and Carrick for England, maybe a Wilshere + Huddelstone partnership in the future?

    Lennon and Walcott are equal IMO, but maybe Theo just edges because of goal scoring, as if I am not mistaken he was originally a striker, which Lennon was not so never had that goal scoring ability.

    We'll see about VDV and Nasri, but they both have the quality to open teams and score goals.

    I would say Fab is better than Modders but the reason I said Modders with Fab was because he is our Fabregas.

    Song > Huddlestone and Palacios, doesn't matter which one. Palacios is shit hence why I never mentioned him, Huddelstone is class you cannot deny that and for the future Sandro looks a great prospect

    Fabregas > Van Der Vaart

    Modric > Wilshere - Wilshere's still new on the scene so he'll be eclipsing him soon.

    Walcott > Lennon - based on this season

    Nasri > Bale - Obviously people bum Bale but Nasri is better. two different players, Bale is more of a winger so can't compare (I know I mentioned him with Wilshere myself but quality wise I'd say they're equal)

    Van Persie > Tottenham'a strike force. agree with as we do need a top class goal scorer (pity RVP is injured most of the time)

    Nasri is better overall than Bale.

    Based on this season Theo is better, but if you look over the last few years I would say equal. (Good news for England to have two quality right wingers)

    It's weird because Lennon could be so much more effective for Arsenal, because of the space RVP makes. Theo plays as an inside forward when RVP is playing.

    Then again Lennon isn't really a striker like Walcott.

    Seriously with the service of Bale, Lennon, VDV, Modric, Huddelstone, Niko, Pienaar, Corluka and BAE, RVP would be scoring tons of goals that I am sure of. We just don't have that class striker to put the ball in the net on a consistent basis.

    If Spurs get top 4 and do well in the Champions League you could get a top striker hopefully.

    Pav is probably going and maybe Defoe if he doesn't carry on from Wolves.

    Neutral

    I know that didn't make much sense.. Neutral But what I meant was that if RVP was in our side he would be scoring goals for fun, I know he gets the service at Arsenal already but he would have equally great service from our players.
    I misread i thought you were implying he gets no service at arsenal Laughing
    Yeah my fault for not wording it properly Laughing

    All I'm saying (and I keep saying it because it needs to happen) is we need a top class striker in the summer!
    You nearly signed cavani last summer, thank god you didnt Laughing

    Well if we did, you would be supporting us in a way Razz

    Who would be available in the summer? I read on Tuesday (most likely a bull story) that Atletico Madrid were gonna offer us Aguero and Forlan for £40m! I'd take them if that happened Laughing

    I would hate him and change my username immediately to Miccoli Laughing, Cavani definetly will be available hes not returning to palermo although Napoli have first pick over cavani. Forlan could be leaving in the summer, Rossi Benzema Bojan Milito Borrielo Lopez Llorente Soldado any of them could be available

    We tried for Rossi in January, probably will try again in the summer. I'll take any of them to be honest Laughing
