Saints Row 3

The previous was fucking brilliant and i can't wait for the next one, Out december and johnny Gat is back

I didn't play 1 but I played 2 recently and whilst I liked it there were times where I felt like it was an 18+ game made for people in the 13-15 age group.

It wasn't as serious as GTA is, I'd probably say it wasn't as good either....though that's hardly an offence as GTA is a classic.

Yeah I think when they tried to take shots at GTA they were way off. They couldn't come close. It's like Burnley saying they play better football than Barcelona.

The game is good but the respect thing did my head in. Got so annoying having to do mini games just so I could carry on the story.

They should release number 1 for PS3, I never got to play it As far as missions and guns etc go GTA was better, But this game was good to just piss about on like going on killing sprees and getting chases

The Saints Row games were pishe. GTA shits all over them. Never really got into the 2nd one. Just seemed too cartoony. GTA's were a hell of a lot better so I just stuck with them

That's the point. For me, Saints Row 2 shits all over GTA IV. Saints Row isn't a serious game, just something you can go on and have a piss about. GTA IV on the other hand is serious shit, and boring as fuck may I add.

GTA IV was the worst of the GTA games even though it had multiplayer.

It deserves the shit it gets. SA was fantastic. GTA IV was just TOO serious and boring, you're an errand boy for most of the game.

Maybe I'm too much of a GTA fanboy but I loved it. The realism was what I wanted from the game. Loved the story as always.

Vice City was my favourite just because of the radio stations. Riding on my chopper listening to VRock

SA/Vice City were WAY better.

It's nothing to do with the realism..the campaign in IV was just BORING. Like Royal said it's like you're just an errand boy.....also you're stuck in a city and let's be honest.....why take shit like planes and tanks away which made the game fun when there's nothing realistic about GTA even in IV anyway......

But tbh Gta's story is much better, its a shame rockstar took themselves so seriously though instead of sticking to what they do best with GTA.

Although RDR remains there best game for me....

RDR was terrible.

Really? I absoloutely loved it, it was one of the only games when i genuinely felt for the character Marston at the end ( accept for the death of flynn in bad company 2 RIP )

Although tbh i understand how some people could find it dull.

I just didnt like it because the game never seemed to pick up any pace. It was always so slow and boring. Even the guys bored me when talking. Wasnt a great start

I know you're only 14 and all but I'm guessing you didn't play VC/SA when they came out?

These games were BLOCKBUSTER.....GTA IV had the hype but didn't live up to it, and games such as RDR and Saintsrow are decent games but just not at all on the same level.

I think the first PS2 game I played was GTA 3.....it was on a whole new level to the PS1....sure there's been good developments since but the jump from PS1>2 was a lot higher and at the time the new GTA's were amazing. The jump from PS2>PS3 (or 360 etc) has been more about bumping up graphics and adding gimmicks....there needs to be some greater innovation.

I've played every GTA ever released

From the original right through to GTA 4, But yes i get what you are saying

With this one I read that you start at the top right away, no building rep or shit like that. Makes me more interested knowing that, aslong as they don't make you lose it all within 5 minutes

When GTA IV Came out and i played it i went straight to Saints Row 2, GTA SA Was the best GTA Ever.
Its not about the seriousness of the game or what not, The reason GTA SA is better then and shits all over GTA IV is because the story was 100 times better, Why the fuck do i wanna be some gay polish guy being and errand boy ? thats just boring as hell.

On the other hand, Can't wait for Saints Row 3, its gunna be Epic.
