As I said before, we don't need those big bulky centre halfs when we come up against teams with great movement ie Barcelona. Koscielny intercepted countless passes today along with Djourou dealing the aerial balls (minimum though). It's going to be a huge boost for us having Sagna back in the 2nd leg.

Koscielny had Messi in his back pocket, which is why Messi had 2 one on ones that normally he would have finished, and set up Villa's goal.

To be fair, towards the end Koscielny did sheppard Messi well. Limited him to pretty much nothing.

To be fair Arsenal's defending wasn't all that, and are lucky Barca had an off day finishing, you want to hope you don't defend like that at Barca's place.

Even then they should have had a second goal.

Oh believe me, I know how to write a sentence. I do often miss words out though, not because I can't write a sentence, jus' I type fast a lot of the time and forget to put words in. A lot of people do it, it's normal.

I hope Koscielny plays like he did 2nd half. One of his best performances for us this season.
