Seeing as you avoided the rest of my post I'm assuming you agree that your valuation of Jelavic is obviuosly a bit high?

As for your posts, why do you think Lawell made a joke of it? Rangers are struggling to pay a £2m tax bill and if a £9m offer came in they would accept it. The Rangers source boasted to the world that they rejected a mystery £9m while the club pleads poverty to HMRC. Do you not wonder why this story was made up, perhaps as a smokescreen to divert attention away from Rangers lack of signings on deadline day? The fact that a Rangers source claimed it was from an unknown agent of an unknown club adds to the hilarity.

We already stated that we would take nothing less than £40million for him.

What would you gain from revealing the bidder? Rangers should have had a bit of dignity and respected Leicester + any other bidders by not revealing their identities.

In regards to the Hooper vs Jelavic thing that was going on higher in the page, I'd probably opt for Jelavic out of the two, but both players are very even.

I don't agree with you Jela about your evaluation of Hooper where you said he was basically a poacher. I think he has more than that and out of our strikeforce, I'd say he has more of an overall influence than Stokes.

I prefer Hooper TBH. I don't know how you can say he's worth £5m and then say Jelavic is worth more than £9m.

Both should have very even values to be honest. What age is Jelavic again? Hooper is still quite young, which would help increase his value to an even further extent.

Yeah, so Hooper's age would be another factor in their transfer values as he is a lot younger than Jelavic. It could be suggested that while Jelavic is hitting his prime, Hooper still has progression to make and a lot more to give over the next few years.
