Think that proves how good the EPL is compared to Serie A

4th in the Premier League team beating top of Serie A team comfortably on their own ground. Not to mention Milan should of had 2 players sent off also.

You do have a point. Still too many variables to make direct comparisons but surely Milan should be playing way better. Their also missing Cassano too.

Gattuso was hilarious. A prick, but hilarious.

Liverpool lost to Northampton Town earlier in the season, this obviously proves that league 2 is better than the premiership.

That was an awful awful performance, negative Milan setup with no spark in the middle. Terrible.mauro=beast wrote:is all part of plan, watch milan blitzing spurs in next leg

Spurs missing Bale, Huddleston only have a half fit Modric as well. Along with King out.

Well I could also use the United murdering Milan last season also. Spurs comfortably beating the European champs.
The real reason for this topic, is it simple the pace of the game which the Italians can't keep up with?

Didn't Inter win the European Cup last year though?

Milan will win 2-0 in second leg.

indeed, first half allegri prove he is very tactically naive. he is not experienced enough really but maybe he will learn
the spurs long ball in first 10 minutes making milan look silly but second half milan play pretty well. pato was beast and they should of playing like that for whole game. is pity we will not seeing cassano playing he is such a beast form right now
milan having not many options right now, looking at bench today everyone except pato was a defender

Did they play any English teams though?
Thats why I asked in my last post is it simply the Italians can't keep up with Premier League pace.

Though, Milan actually has good players injured in comparison.

The long ball was an excellent tactic. I like long ball when it is played properly, not just hoof down the middle of the pitch and hope it lands at someone. Spurs actually aim for Crouch who always moves away from the centre backs. Its more than just a long ball.

Won with dirty tactics ie. rugby tackling Drogba and fouling Kalou 5 yards from the goal.

Think you may be on to something. They are after all different types of football. Only logical that one may come across as more dominant than the other.
