#WHFC the preferred bidder for #OlympicStadium - decision needs to be rubber stamped by the government & London mayor Boris Johnson.
Only a few minutes away from me. Easier for me to get to the matches!

Sam, may I ask why the move for Spurs would bother you so much? For a fan from the local area it would be a blow, but for you, you only watch them on TV so does it actually affect you? I mean, if they moved to Scotland it wouldn't actually have much of an effect on you surely?
Not meaning to sound offensive by the way I was just wondering.

Nah I can understand people being confused why it would effect me, since I am from Australia. But I can't really put it in any other way, that I grew up and still do love TOTTENHAM Hotspur, it's where we have won everything, had good times and bad times at Tottenham (I'm speaking about our whole history) and it's just been something that really gets to me, to think we could basically throw all that out the window, and basically become a new club to move to any where else then Tottenham.

Yeah, I can understand you. It's not nice knowing that they club is sort of changing identity, I know what you mean. I hope they stay local too, never good to see clubs being messed around with. Ground moves are fine, as long as they aren't huge relocations. You have to keep close to the the majority of the fanbase (guess this means Old Trafford II will be built in Korea )

Re: West Ham win the Olympic Stadium
Spurs are being really bitter about West Ham winning it now.
Its understandable though because to move forward as a club Spurs need a bigger stadium and that one would have been perfect.

Why don't spurs just build a stadium, they seem to have loads of cash

Agreed.
What should be done is West Ham let Spurs rent the Olympic stadium for a season or two, (west ham stay in their stadium for the time being), while spurs demolish and rebuild white hart lane.

Levy says it's not viable without loans from the council etc.
