    Yesterday Sony Ericsson officially confirmed Xperia Play, which is arriving on February 13, in a Super Bowl commercial ad video which can be seen below.


    To quote from Engadget: Sony Ericsson has finally stopped teasing,
    winking, and nodding knowingly and has just come clean - the Xperia Play
    is most definitely real and it'll be one of the first devices announced
    at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.


    We're treated to a date and time, February 13th at 6PM GMT, a pair
    of full frontal shots of the Gingerbread-running, gamepad-wearing
    smartphone, and the full version of that creepy ad we saw for it a
    couple of days back.

    How awesome does that look? Might have to ditch the iPhone.

    Merrr! I've been looking forward to this phone for a couple of years now, Deffo need to buy it, Something to do because im constantly on buses or waiting for them since I moved house, Gonna have 6 bus rides today with college and work, then if I decide to go out after work a couple more

    It will be around the same price as most phones when released.

    Looking at about 500 squid SIM-Free.

    Maybe a ton or two on contract.

    FUCK THAT! Stick to my Blackberry for a couple more month, No way I could justify spending $500 on a phone

    I had the X10, really good phone, but I have a Desire HD now, it's fukin awesome, Android outsells the iphone by 3:1.

    Because it's on like a 100 different phones. Not one handset gets near the iPhone though.

    Android is sold on loads of different handsets, like the Samsung Galaxy and the Xperia Play. iOS is only sold through iPhones so it's unfair to compare that. The iPhone sells like 10x more than any handset like the Galaxy.

    That's because the Samsung Galaxy is wank, HTC's are so much better than Iphone anyway, theye are more customizable and more user-friendly.
