I've been in the FIFA camp for the past 3 years but i'm jumping ship to PES this time out. It's looking really good this year and i'm a little bored with FIFA now.

My friend works for Official Playstation Magazine and has played them both.
He said it's still FIFA ahead but Pro Evo's master league is much improved.
so still FIFA for me

Re: PES 2011 or FIFA 2011?
My problem is I bought FIFA 10 and FIFA World Cup so I kind of just want a totally different game this time around. I like to change series every few years. It keeps it feeling fresh when you go back to one of the 2.

PES's gameplay is terrible. The ball is made out of lead.
FIFA has poor animations, and performance is less reliable.

FIFA, but if the PES demo impresses me then I'll pick that up too.

PES 2011 visuals, graphics, animation, and details totally blow FIFA 11 out of the water. But FIFA has better gameplay, which is what I prefer. They should combine with each other and make a game together. That would be amazing and they could split profits.

Maybe on graphics PES is a bit better, but it is nothing compared to last year. PES had far better graphics last year, but the presentation on FIFA has improved so much from last year that it's a lot closer now IMO.

Fifa just because Hull City are on there.
They really need to make the pitch bigger on Fifa... or stop the players being able to run from one end to the other in one burst unless they have like 90+ stamina.

They can't do that though the players seem so sluggish in FIFA 11 it's as if they're all 15 stone.

I ran up the field with John Terry... That was holding sprint as well. I know what you mean about sluggishness though, its like there is no burst of speed. I reckon that will be fixed though.
The pitch still needs to be bigger though.

I love the new FIFA animations that when you score your team mates grab you and celebrate with you. Also lve the fact the certainplayers have their own special celebrations. Thats pretty cool

I can't help but feel more joy when I score in PES though. It just feels better when you put together a good move and it ends in a goal. I think i'm just a tad bored of FIFA year on year tbh. A break from FIFA might make me enjoy it again in future.

Both as always, although this year the PES demo has impressed me more.
