Why Spurs would even go after Adam is fucking beyond me.
Modric
VDV
Huddlestone
Jenas
Pienaar
Palacios
Sandro
Krancjar
.....it's not like they're short on central midfielders is it?

Heard it was because Huddlestone has had another setback in his injury, so he wanted another 'passer' in midfield alongside Modric.
Or something like that

It's because he's a wheeler dealer, that's reason enough.

But ya, Adam for £15m or whatever is hardly a steal.

Re: Transfer deadline day goings on
Pienaar & Krancjar are wide players. Adam & Modric would play in the middle & VDV plays off the striker. Jenas and Palacios seem to be out of favour so Adam would have started before them. Actually surprised Jenas didnt leave in that window. Hes been on the move for about a year nowLuxz0rz wrote:Why Spurs would even go after Adam is fucking beyond me.

Are you kidding? For as long as I can remember he has been saying "(Insert player name) is a triffic player and one that I have a great deal of admiration for. But at the moment being he is playing for (insert club name) and that's that"North_Sea_Tiger wrote:Who are the continuous amounts of players that he tapped up thenHitchy wrote:That post wasn't Adam relatedNorth_Sea_Tiger wrote:How did he tap up Adam ?Hitchy wrote:Redknapp is the biggest cunt... how he continuously gets away with tapping players up is honestly beyond me

Modric used to play on the wing too.....but that was only because Spurs had a gap there. Krancjar and Pienaar play through the middle preferably.....
I agree about Jenas and Palacios, but they're still there so either sell them or no point bringing others in.

Are you shitting me?
£20m and we reject it? Really? If they offered £10m I'd say they paid too much.

I think you and myself are the only ones on this forum that think Richards is shite... most others think he's a world beater for some reasonZzonked wrote:http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11679_6714964,00.html

Re: Transfer deadline day goings on
Saying you like a player isnt tapping him up Tapping a player up is what Chelsea did with Ashley Cole. Saying you like a player that is playing for another team isnt tapping him up. Holloway said he liked Messi but hes unfortunatly tied down to a long contract with Barca. Holloway must now be fined for that clear tapping up of MessiHitchy wrote:Are you kidding? Re: Transfer deadline day goings on
2345: Harry Redknapp confirms to Sky Sports News that Tottenham made a bid - that was accepted - for Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam late in the day, but that the deal fell through because "a couple of Blackpool shareholders" just failed to get the necessary signatures on the paperwork in time. So near. So far. So Tottenham.

I still think he has a chance to become good but right now it's pretty dodgy........

Tbh I can see Richards as more of a RM than a RB not exactly good at defending but better at attacking.

How tf is Carroll worth £35 million? It's just freaking ridiculous.

Definitely not. He's not great going forward either, he looks he's putting in token work when he does. Got bad ball control and crossing too. He's definitely a better defender than he is an attacker. Tbh I think he even looked better at CB than RB, because he can head the ball quite well, but he wont get many games there.

Avoid was great. Biased as fuck, but I like fans who are biased the way I want to hear it, makes me feel better about my own little delusions.
