    I understand where Luke is coming from tbf.

    I don't have a problem with them officiating if they can do a good job, but i'd rather them not, simply because the focus will always be on them rather than the game.

    And that will soon die down. There will be a massive focus on goal-line technology if it comes in, it's new, there's always going to be focus and attention on it to see whether it works.

    If you take that attitude, nothing will change and we'll still have refs like Howard Webb being the best refs we have.

    I didn't even notice there was a female ref, cos i turned the game on at half time (just got home from school)

    So, let me get this right. Women can referee if they prove they can ref games better than men, but they aren't allowed the chance to do so?

    I have absolutely no problem. We've got female fans, female pundits, female physios, female members in the boardroom, even some female coaches. Nothing wrong with it for me.

    But, I've not got the opinion on women as people did in the 50's.

    I obviously wouldn't have said what I did without giving them a chance Laughing
