No, it would mean Ipswich beat Arsenal over two legs....the pitch can't be blamed...the crowed can't be blamed and you can't blame "negative" (i.e. smart) tactics either.
If to get any respect you have to play "nice football" then fuck respect I'll take the result any day. If it doesn't win you the game then it's not good enough, and if Arsenal lose to a team like Ipswich over two legs it shows that being big headed and paying no attention to how Ipswich play and just doing your own thing will not always pay off.
Ipswich are playing winning football....you cannot expect them to go out 4-4-2, push high up the pitch and try and score.....hell even in the first leg at home when they weren't a goal up on aggregate that would be stupid.....no way they'd do it now. That is because if Ipswich play Arsenal's game they'll lose....but so what? Football isn't about copying Arsenal, it's about beating them. If Arsenal don't pay Ipswich respect and don't play winning/play good then that's their fault not Ipswich's.
No such thing as "negative tactics" in the way you mean it. It's winning or losing football.....and Ipswich are playing sensible, tactical, clever football and showing Arsenal up so far.
