Anyway, Anderson's own personal skill set has nothing to do with the validity of what he's saying. What he's saying is true. His own abilities and playing style aren't the issue.

Add to that his strength, and his energy in the midfield, always bringing the ball forward at pace etc...
I've said it before, if people don't understand what Anderson brings o our team you've got problems, he's been one of our best players this season

Anderson isn't amazing or anything. He gets the job done usually, but there's a lot of players around him and at similar teams who are better.
As has been said already, one of his best points is his work rate so this is quite strange for him to point out....

People aren't exactly wrong about his work rate being one of his best attributes. In Brazil he was tagged the next best thing but he doesn't exactly show many attributes... He just runs around a lot and strings some good passes, blame the prem? maybe... I'd just blame him being a fatboy

Ando has a point TBH. One thing that I still can't understand is the "see ball, hoof ball" mentality from a lot of English defenses, even when they have the time to pick a pass. I thought needlessly giving the ball back to the opposition was supposed to be a bad thing?
