A contract termination doesn't work like that. There will already be a clause in place.

There's 52 weeks in a year.
Just times 20k by 10. Then times that by 5. You have around about what he's on a year.

Thats 2.08m for the full length his contract too, really that figure goes down to 1.5m already. And the fact I reckon he'd settle it at less. So around £1m to get rid of him. I'm pretty sure that would be worth it.
