2011 AFC Asian Cup Prediction Game
Rules
- Choose the team you think will win by highlighting/bold the team in each fixture.
- For a draw, highlight both teams or don't highlight either team.
- For knockout matches, highlight which team you think will win AND the method of winning (normal time, extra time, or penalties).
- Post which team you think will win the tournament and their end of tournament goal difference (GD) to serve as a tiebreaker. Post these tiebreakers before the tournament starts; otherwise, you lose your tiebreaking chances.
- Don't start predicting matches until they are feasible (i.e. don't predict knockout matches before we know who is playing in those matches).
- You can change your predictions for a match at anytime before the respective match starts. If you do change it, PLEASE post your changes in another post; otherwise, it won't count.
- You can join this game if the tournament has already started. You will just gain no points for matches that have already started.
Point System
Group Matches
- Correct Win = 1pt
- Correct Draw = 2pts
- Incorrect Prediction = 0pts
Knockout Matches
- Correct Prediction = 1pt
- Correct Prediction + (Normal Time) or (Extra Time) or (Penalty Shootout) = 2pts
