Italian legend Christian Vieri is reportedly set to come out of retirement by joining Brazil's Boavista Sport Club.
The 37-year-old should complete his move to the third-division side in January, according to widespread media reports.
Vieri, one of Italy's most prominent stars in history, plied his trade at Inter Milan, Juventus and Lazio among other clubs throughout his glittering career.
He hung up his boots in 2009 but he's said to be in good shape till now.

A third division Brazilian club is hardly going to offer him that much.

Boavista isn't a bad side and 3rd division clubs in Brazil aren't bad at all. Probably would give bottom table EPL/La Liga teams a run for their money.Pablo Sarabia wrote:Kalinic wrote:All for the money!

He can still be earning like 10k a week there which is quite fucking good.

Probably strongest 3rd division in the world. I don't see League 1, 3 Bundesliga or Serie C1A&B clubs being better than them.

Shut up polska.
Southampton and Charlton would anally rape a 3rd Division Brazilian side.

I didn't say that.
I said that on FM, I played a team from Belgian third division (which I then went to beat 10-0 ) had a couple decent players who could make it in League 1.
Get your facts straight you laughing cunt.

Re: Vieri to come out of retirement?
some 3rd tier brasil clubs have better individuals then any league 1 or serie c team
many good player is play for those small clubs especially in state championship. obviously rest of team is useless, but there is always 1 or 2 better players then everyone else that is just using those team as platform to getting more money overseas
many serie c and below player recruited by italiano club in the past and present with big success. is all about scouting

Yah. It isn't exactly hard to find Serie D clubs with 1-2 good players on them.
Arka Gdynia scouted a Brazilian from a Serie D club, and now he is among the best players in their team.

Re: Vieri to come out of retirement?
somtimes u will even finding decent profile brasilian players that playing for big clubs in brasil but drop down 2 tiers
in korea k-league, player name eninho, he is mvp in korea league and he was discover from brasil 4th tier playing amateur football age 28
he outshine many high profile korean internationals and also other very good foreigns
even in australia a-league. there is brasilian name robson, he was brasil youth international and played for flamengo in brasil but he dropped down for 1 season to brasil 3rd tier and play state championship, gold coast found him and he is beast
many brasilians recruited in palermo are same. not recently, but a few years ago we recruited many player from lower tier in brasil. some were fail for sure, but some were awesome

Re: Vieri to come out of retirement?
I remember he came to Blackburn last summer for a trail, he was meant to have impressed but he was well behind with his fitness supposedly. Then he never turned up for a training camp in Austria and it all fell through. I was gutted though at the time.
Then the Daily Mail showed pictures of him on a beach not long afterwards, he was the size of a house!
