Barcelona v Ath. Bilbao

Bilbao defended excellently(is that a word? ) but Barcelona were below their best.

Overall the game was poor tbh.

Valencia x Villarreal coming up on tv next. Sweet.

Hope Wenger was watching, Barcelona were a bit off, but Athletic were great in defense. San Mames will be up for the second leg, could definately see them winning.

Wenger would never do that, he believe in his teams attacking ability.

I don't think Arsenal have the players to do it anyway to be honest.

Wenger also believes that this Arsenal side is his best ever, doesn't mean a thing. Having a defensive mindset doesn't necessarily mean you have to play like Inter, teams have shown if you break forward quickly with numbers you have a great chance, Hercules did at the Camp Nou, Sunderland did at Stamford Bridge.

Athletic are much tougher at home. I can definitely see them beating Barca in the return leg.

Although, i'd imagine Barca would play a much tougher team.

The only way Athletic will go through is if they attack to score, and if they do that they'll get smashed, well that's what I think anyway.
