Re: BUNDESLIGA 10/11
I swear if Dortmund had a deadly goalpoacher they would smash teams every week. The number of chances they waste in unbelievable. I think I saw a stat that said they score a goal for every 8 chances created.

Honestly, what happened to Dortmund?
Not a big follower of German football until this season.. but before I didn't hear much about them.. yet this year they've smashed it.

They're been steadily doing well, came 5th last season. Just that people who don't follow a league only take notice when you're smashing people.

Re: BUNDESLIGA 10/11
Dortmund used to be a big team in Germany, especially during the 90s. But they had a lot of financial trouble at the turn of the century, which say them struggle quite a bit for most of the decade. But now, with the young players that have brought in/through, and their manager, they have been able to put together a wonderful team.
Only question is how long all of these players will actually stay at the club.

Yeah I haven't watched much Bundesliga before this season, ESPN show more games now so I've taken a keen interest and it's very exciting tbh.Rei wrote:kyro7 wrote:Honestly, what happened to Dortmund?

Hac financial troubles at the start of the decade as well and it took them a while to bounce back from that

Re: BUNDESLIGA 10/11
This is the biggest. But yeah, it kinda does. But that is because the teams are spread out more, and there aren't really multiple teams from the same city. At least not in the same division, usually.

This half flew by. I'd say Shalke would defiantly be happier going in level.

This half reminded me of that scene at the end of Shangai Moon when Owen Wilson is shot at multiple times and all the bullet go through his jacket.

Dortmund's play reminds me of this game called "just the tip". You get so close, but you don't actually score. I hate that game.
