I'm guessing your manager consulted either Mauro or Pablo Sarabia, if not both, before making that idiotic conclusion. I mean, that might all be true but none of you lot still believe he was never good enough to play for Poland, right?

The comment was way way back, not now. We've had two new managers since him.

The exact thing he said is that "We don't need him, we have 200 strikers in Poland as good as him". This guy also refused Szetela (then promising player and best buds with Rossi, though his career flopped), Sinkiewicz, Klukowski, Polanski and some other players from playing with us.

Just make sure when you talk about this to note that you had a daft idiot manager who didn't think he was good enough for Poland. Otherwise, people might think you're saying that he in fact wasn't good enough to play for Poland. At that point, you'll look like a right daft idiot yourself, and I'd hate to see that happen to you.
