Regardless of how big of a twat Sam is, he is a Premier League quality manager. With him in charge, Blackburn were never going to get relegated.

I am guessing the real reason is that Sam had ambitions for January transfer window, and needed money, the board couldn't afford to do it, so they sacked him.
