I had the thing for ages, I was just waiting for a time when I had a lot of work to do to try it. I think a lot of students do those kind of drugs, especially in the US. I'm sure there's worse stuff to try in LA.

Yeah, I grew up in a pretty big drug culture to be honest. I think it had the opposite effect of what you would expect though. I'm really wary of any kind of substance. I even hesitate to take ibuprofen and aspirin sometimes as I'd rather power through whatever is ailing me than take that stuff, even if it is relatively safe.
I don't even drink coffee, or alcohol now.

At least you crazy kid's drug of choice are stimulants. Back in my day the kids loved inhaling computer cleaner of all things. Oh and noz.(nitrous oxide)
Add those two to marijuana and you had the narcotics trifecta of 2006. There's was a lot of money in it for some young entrepreneurs too, especially with the noz. Party crews would throw a party and sell this stuff at the door at $5 a pop, or balloon to be precice.
At least kids are getting shit done with their drugs these days though.

Re: Chat Thread
So, tonight, I found out that my first serious girlfriend died last night, in a motorbike accident. I opened up Facebook and it was everywhere.
The accident was last night at about 8:40pm, and I got a text from her at 8pm telling me how she was finally leaving her abusive boyfriend and moving back in with her Dad, this coming Monday.
I didn't fucking reply.
Now I can't help but wonder if I replied, would the butterfly effect have taken place, and altered the course of the night? Surely those few seconds of reading a reply from me would have prevented the chain of events that led to the accident?
Fuck life.

I think growing up like that can make it go either way. Either you end up never doing anything, or you do everything all the time. There's no grey area, but most people obviously end up in the latter.
I wouldn't trust myself to be around drugs all the time tbh. I've never been addicted to anything even like smoking, but I think that's because I've just kept it out of my reach.

I have not, I've seen Joe Rogan advertises for it though I think.
Looking at the ingredients, I have some of those things on their own. I've got loads of nootropics, some are a lot better than others.

A lot of people will tell you that it wouldn't, but I'll tell you the truth - it could have done, but you will never ever know one way or the other and the truth is it doesn't matter. You cannot hold yourself responsible for what happens because of the butterfly effect if you couldn't possibly have known what would happen.
If responsibility is assigned you're very low down on the list after the driver of the motorbike, the driver of the other vehicle in the collision, the girl herself for opting to go on a motorbike, the government for allowing motorbikes to be driven on roads knowing they're dangerous, all of these knew there was a risk to their actions, whereas you didn't have a clue, nor could you have been expected to. If there's any level of responsibility that's yours it's equal with every single person who she knew or met that week who could have text her or called her or spoken to her and slightly altered the course of her life.
Shit happens, that's life, there's no predicting it, no taking responsibility for it, you just have to accept it.

It's strong enough that it concerns me that loads of kids are getting prescribed this stuff. Long term I have to believe that it isn't good for your brain. It felt good and it made getting a lot of work done very painless. It may be useful if used on occasion, but surely the people using it daily are doing more harm than good.
One of my mates went crazy with it for a little bit. We had exam week and after a hectic semester with part time work on top of it. We weren't prepared at all so he started taking them none-stop for a couple of weeks. He aced his exams but now he can't study for long period of times.

How much does it cost to renew?
