Out of curiosity, what should Gerrard have done? I know what he did was shit, but I don't know what else he could have done? Leave it? He couldn't see because Cavani jumped higher and was directly in front of him and looked like he was genuinely going to head the ball. It was just bad luck really. Not comparable to his actual back-passes.

It's just rotten luck tbh. Jumped/challenged Cavani for the ball in a 50/50, only for Cavani to somehow, unexpectedly miss the ball, which then lands on Gerrard's head and falls inch-perfectly into Suarez's path.

Definitely not even close to comparable to putting it on a plate for Drogba/Henry, or letting the ball slip under his foot, to Ba. Those were 100% his fault.
