I have regular access to a PS4. It's obviously an upgrade but by no means a huge upgrade. As long as the games they're releasing are available on both platforms then I see no reason to buy one, especially since almost all the big PS4 releases have garnered mildly positive to mediocre receptions from reviewers and general audiences.

You guys all remind me of when I kept trying to justify not getting an iPhone 5S, because my Blackberry could "do all the same things" or "had everything I needed".

The PS4 IS a huge upgrade. I HAVE one. I play on it almost every day and I see my Brother on his PS3 almost every day and I can see for myself how much better the PS4 is. Simple as that, really.

If I didn't think it was much of an upgrade, I'd say so. I'd be talking about how I hope the games start improving, or discuss how features aren't as good as I expect them to be, etc, but I am not, because quite frankly, the PS4 has been amazing so far.

You posted on here a few months ago how you were very apprehensive about buying one because of how it might not be worth the price. Of course now you have one you aren't going to turn around and say it's not a huge upgrade because that would be admitting your worst fears. You're just trying to justify buying one pre-price drop.

Anyway, cba with any more debate about whether or not the PS4 is a big upgrade. It has been for me, and that's all that really matters.

Been playing a second run through Wolfenstein. Just as good the 2nd time round. Although this time I have opted to "save Wyatt" instead of "save Fergus",

Some of the bosses are so difficult. Like the London Monitor, who is massive.

Fifa 08 was the first one I started playing online and it was alright, but 09 was 100x better.

Getting a Ps4 in a couple of weeks, gamestop seems to be the cheapest place to get it from unless there is cheaper.

Love the older Fifa games, so much harder to score quality goals so brilliant when you did

I don't think anyone has questioned whether it is better, everyone just seems to think that the graphics and play on the PS3 are more than adequate and it's not worth anywhere near 400 dollars/pounds to upgrade the system.

The graphics will get even better in the future as many PS4 games at the moment are ported over from last gen consoles. I think the biggest improvement has to be the actual gameplay, games run a lot smoother and at a higher framerate. Some of the newer games on the PS3 are almost unplayable for me (GTA 5, Watch Dogs and NFS) because they just run too slow.

Finally got one   UFC game is brilliant.
