No, he just cares about this forum far too much    I know most of us care to an extent but not to the point where I'd put £1250 on the line or to the point where the sole reason I'd want my team to win the league is so I could rub it in the face of 2-3 users that login once a week

Yeah, Barcelona have won it fuck loads. Liverpool haven't won it in my lifetime (well, being 1 year old doesn't count) so obviously it's different.

If City hadn't unlocked the unlimited money cheat I would have turned down 2000 for even the FA cup. As things are I wouldn't have though, because with the money winning something was only a matter of time. So I agree with you.

That was more my thinking.  Besides, I get plenty of joy from watching individual games, not even taking into account long-term victories, etc.
