I'm not begging for your money. I came here after two weeks of not posting here to request my money, because you promised you would give it to me. There was absolutely nothing that I said that alluded to you donating the money yourself. It's funny how you want to make these conditions for a bet that you went out of your way to offer to me, and now you refuse to honour it. In hindsight, it makes the £500 you offered The Zlatan for the top scorer bet even more hilarious because if you were to lose, you'd likely "attach strings" to the debt you have to repay.

My friends drank pretty much every weekend from the time they were 13 and upwards. Some started even earlier than that. The "normal" thing though was to wait until 14/15, then you lost it. Many of my classmates were discussing how to get drunk without tasting the stuff during class at the age of 14.

The "live on the edge there lads" chavs in my year started at about that age, and within 3/4 years even the stereotypical "good kids" were drinking & smoking weed.

Fortunately, I was too strong of a personality to succumb to peer pressure.   It's actually surprised me how many people at university don't drink/rarely drink, it is probably a higher proportion than my secondary school.
