If we beat Man United next weekend, we could go top of the table depending on how Spurs do against Arsenal.

Then we'd be top for 2 weeks, due to International break.

A victory is absolutely necessary, dropping points against any team managed by SPOH is a disaster.

I think you'll beat Manchester United by 2 goals. Moyes has an inferiority complex when it comes to Liverpool.

Last season we drew both games with Everton.

Nah, we got 4 points against them, no matter what the refs say.

After dominating Jonny Walters and Cristian Benjamin Teke, you have to think that KoLAD will still have to be at his best to deal with the new threat of van Rapist.

You should have won both. One was down to an incorrect call and the other draw was down to Moyes's negative tactics. I doubt he'll play as defensive as he did it that away game now that he's United manager.

For some reason, I feel like he'll find Van Persie easier to deal with than Benteke.

Agger's starting to worry me though. Quite a few brain-farts are creeping into his game. The handball against Stoke and the back-pass against Aston Villa.

Fully expect us to give away a penalty.

We're 3rd after most teams have played 3 games whilst we've only played 2

Everton are struggling without SPOH's influencing of officials.

Does anyone else think that West Ham will overcome that result and still claim 5th place at the end of the season?

It is pretty shit that we have to wait 2 weeks to see all the new signings in the PL.

Ashley Young proves twice that he has no honour.

United are really poor. I hate how they grind out lucky victories against shit teams and build their confidence.

Spurs are scary as shit. I love their squad. Dammit :/

Since it looks like Arsenal & Spurs have avoided implosions, I think the best Liverpool can hope for is 6th.

Real, real chance for Arsenal to open up a little bit of a gap at the top tonight, and for us to jump up into 2nd/3rd tomorrow.

The City result was such a freak game, Villa were played off the park for nearly all of it. Their first two shots were their first two goals, one was offside and the other was a dubiously awarded free kick. Lel feel like typical Arsenal, play good football but don't get the result.

These results are fucking perfect. 

Come on Arsenal. Beat this very stubborn Swansea side. 

Not feeling good about it though. Swansea seems to have own number..and they got better.

I know this says PL Discussion, but I've got the Real Sociedad and Sevilla match on in the background and noticed the usual medical car thing driving onto the pitch with a stretcher. 

Is there any reason why this doesn't ever happen in England? Health and safety?

Fully expecting us to beat Sunderland. Feeling the opposite of how I did last week, but, you never know.

Handball goal, blatant back pass and Toure trying to rip the shirts off the Sunderland players from every corner. Brilliant refereeing.

The handball wasn't deliberate and it happened so quickly, which, along with the "heading" movement of Sturridge's head, meant that no-one really could've caught that. None of the Sunderland players appealed, either, which kind of backs that up. 

Refereeing has been pretty atrocious, though, and I'm surprised, considering Webb normally gives everything against us. 

Don't forget, though. Poor refereeing chalked off Altidore's legit goal against you, which would've made it 2-2.
