Nope.  Our school readings consist mainly of American, English, and Russian literature.

I imagine he's pretty good? He won the Nobel Prize, after all.

He's a very good author and I seriously recommend his novels. I've read about 7-8 of them and they have all been fantastic.

Sorry, I just never felt the need to read them since the movies are supposed to be very faithful. Rolling Eyes

Don't know about ASOIAF yet. I'll read until the end of the third book then I'll decide.

I'm set to finish FFC in the next few days and I'll probably read the fifth one over Christmas since the paperback comes out in October and I like to have all of the books of a same series be the same height on a bookshelf.

It's interesting that you bring that up because I bought the first two from Holland and they look like this:

But then when I went to England I didn't find those versions, which greatly annoyed me. But as if that wasn't bad enough, they've actually split the third and the fifth books into two parts. Why the fuck would they do that? Rolling Eyes

Order the US version, my friend. That looks exactly like my copy of GOT.

I can only imagine that it's a moneymaking scheme. My books look on the outside like 400-500 page books because the pages are so thin and its bounded so economically. The UK just let it all hang out, so to speak, and the books looked floppy and poor quality when I saw them in Waterstones. Rolling Eyes

Too big to publish as one book in paperback I think.

Has anyone read The Way of Kings? Brandon Sanderson is quickly becoming my new favourite author.

rofl  I posted that comment over here.

    1. How on earth does Higuain offer more "grit" than Suarez?
    2. Suarez > Higuain
    3. Arsenal aren't overloaded with creativity.

I'm guessing he also strongly hoped that Wanyama would come in alongside Arteta?
