I loved every minute of Shelvey's performance. It was a tough match, and he got stuck in right away, sending in a high challenge on a Zenit player to give him a nice Anfield welcome. He may have lacked the technical ability to score a goal or set up one and help us reach the next round, but his attitude was top notch.
