I was next to some guy deadlifting 170kg and I was doing bicep curls with just a bar when I went to my first gym session, no one even blinked.

You look more stupid trying to lift heavier than what you're capable of, if you're doing normal weights and shit, fine. Pumping heavy as fuck weights when you can barely talk, look a nob.

Set off at half 3 yesterday to drive to my new site then worked from 7.30-6pm before another 35 minute drive back to my hotel! Then got up at half 6 today to get there for 7.20 and worked through till 6 again. Long days and I won't get chance to rest before another 4 hour drive home on Friday.

Well it's an engineering apprenticeship so I'm based on site at the moment, near Aylesbury. Cause I'm working away though I get 10% added to my salary, 25 quid a night for my food plus free breakfast, and 40p a mile for my journey there and back. So it's alright money wise but very tiring!

Apprenticeships are usually gruesome wages.

My mate had an electrical apprenticeship and kept boasting how he was on £2.50 an hour whilst we were searching for jobs, 3 months down the line we were all on 3 times his amount, he got the sack, baring in mind he had to walk 10 miles to and from work a day and is now working at McDonalds with one GCSE.

Feel sorry for him in a way. But he's going to be stuck in a series of deadend jobs now, sad.
