Hardly for no reason. There are certain things about it which makes it deserve the hate.. Even if they are petty.


1. The entire design is basically for tablets. It's just a way for Microsoft to integrate PC users into the tablet scene, aka "Let's make more money"

2. People don't like change and after almost 15 years with the same user interface(Windows 95, 98, xp, vista, 7 etc) it's totally understandable why people, especially businesses will be pissed off.

3. Like vista it's resource heavy and uses un-needed shite for pretty colours and flashy effects. Sure 7 does this but it improves on what Vista did wrong.
