Because he's been linked with Liverpool(among other clubs) and it's a youtube video. You get those kind of comments in the youtube videos.

Sort of like the video in this thread.

    http://www.the-playmaker.com/t6814-ashley-young-welcome-to-liverpool-fc-2011

Originally the video was called Ashley Young - Welcome to Liverpool, then he signed for Man United. It was pretty amusing.

I could have just as easily said, Welcome to Manchester United or Welcome to Porto.

Had a messed up dream man.

Was going on a family trip and for some reason there were Chelsea players included in my family. Was me, my dad, my two sisters, Oscar, Mikel and Lampard. Neutral One of my sister was flirting with Mikel, can't remember which one and I was sat next to Oscar at the back of the car, don't remember what we talked about I just remember us laughing.

Fucks knows what Lampard was doing.

Heard about that, seen him play a once or twice when he was being hyped up, looks very promising from what I can remember. Got too many CB's now though, hopefully Maicon gets sold.

What do you think? Will he be a success?

I hate to admit it but I think he's pretty great. He's a tiempista. That is he times his tackles well, usually clean and comfortable with the ball at his feet. In other words he's not a hoof merchant.

Only thing is that, although he has pretty good height, he won't out muscle anyone. He's pretty weak and thin, and sometimes gets out muscled by players considerably smaller than him. It's his biggest weakness.

I imagine he'll get put into some sort of muscle building routine in Portugal though.

Now, if a strappin' young lad is what you wanted, Porto should of signed Chaton.

There was a strong rumor that Benefica was on the verge of singing him last month but the rumor suddenly stopped.

Rumor had it that Porto was going to signed Hector Herrera too, but that stopped suddenly too. I blame Pachuca's stupid price tag. of 9 million.

If anyone took the English Language AS exam what would you say would be the best groupings to do for the first question?

    I'm thinking between these five:

    Spoken Language features
    Semantic Field
    Graphology
    Formality
    Technical Language and Jargon

Oh and speaking of English. I love English, has always been my favorite subject the subject I did alright at too. I love reading, writing and all that jazz.

My punctuation has always need some work though, grammar wasn't as big of a problem but I was rough there too. But I usually write well enough that I guess my professors think I make up for those flaws. Was pretty close to becoming an English major, but decided against it in the end when I realized that I wasn't sure what I would do with it. Laughing

    Yes.

Make your goals smaller, don't just try and 'do your college work' try and take it slowly one step at a time. So for example before I do an essay I would read the critical material with a pen and paper, note down anything interesting and then build the essay upwards from there. That's how I find it best to break that.

That's a good idea to my usual marathon sessions the night before, it gets the job done but makes it stressful.

I also have something weird too:

I have 3 assignments out and 2 in before the 31st, yet we haven't covered much on them and one of them is a group assignment and I'll get all panicky how we aren't starting yet, and I'm away Thursday and Friday so shit scared (sad i know) I'm going to miss work. I really hate January, it's such a pain to get back into the flow of things Mad

Even now I'd rather play Football Manager than work. Neutral

I'm usually one for marathon sessions too, I'm trying to do it the other way now though too. Marathon sessions make is so much more painful, plus I think it's harder to understand what you're doing and write something good when it's just all at once and a little bit off the cuff. Doing a little ground work with a pen and paper gets rid of so much stress.

I should do minimum 1500 words in the rest of today and then another 3000 over Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, but I'm not stressed because I've already written out enough stuff to say. che

Alright for some. I need a target. I will get a half an hour fix of Football Manager then do 1 hour solid of college work, it's all about staying focussed and breaking that 10 minute pain barrier I think.

This month has just been mega stressful.

Btw as a last resort black coffee gives you an amazing buzz towards doing work. Even if you don't like it, just get it down you and it helps a lot. Razz

Might be right about the 10 minute pain barrier, once you get started doing work it's never usually too bad.
