Did you have en suite rooms or shared bathrooms?

If it was shared, was it much of a problem?

I spend half an hour on the shitter, on average, and about 20 minutes in the shower.

Likewise Forest, I like my peaceful toilet time.

I had ensuite first year, lived in a house the second year and this year.

You'll be okay with shared, 20 minutes in the shower is probably fine and so long as you don't do a lengthy brown sin excavation at peak times you'll be okay.

I'd rather just have my own tbh, I'd be happy paying an extra £15 - £20 a week for my own toilet and shower.

Ensuite is fine, but definitely not worth sacrificing a better place for it. If you find a favourite place and they have it, great, if they don't I'd recommend sacrificing it.

Accomodation I looked at in Liverpool was like a prison though. It was shared facilities, but not between just a flat, it was shared by the whole corridor

That was the first Uni visit I did. So I presumed all accommodations that were shared facility would be the same. It was a huge relief when I looked at Newcastle and found out that this wasn't the case

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting I'll be in a city with good transport.

I love relative long journeys, like 10 minutes just to chill to music.

I can see myself spending like an hour just in a cafe some days just listening to music and watching the world go by!

Wilmslow/Oxford road bus route is the busiest in Europe. There is literally a bus every 1-2 minutes that goes past the uni from where I live.

Yeah my friend is at MMU Zzonked, said it's the most student populated place in Europe or something, a bus every 90 seconds.

My mate worked out that there was something like 37 seconds between every bus?

It felt longer than that though when we were up there the other weekend
