I'm guilty of the same.ahlycotc wrote:Today I got off at the wrong stop because I was daydreaming. Sometimes, I notice it's my stop just as the door is about to close. But I don't get off because I'm afraid I will look like an idiot if the door closes on me.

Buses are weirdly so good to chill out at the back of the bus.
Sometimes don't want to get off

Re: Chat Thread
Once, it was just me on the bus and I pressed the 'stop' button before it was my stop, because I thought I was just coming up to it. The bus stopped and I realised it wasn't my stop but since it was just me, I couldn't pretend it was someone else, so I got off the bus. Had to walk like 2 miles back to my house.
Another time I pressed the button and the bus just kept going past my stop so I had to get off on the next stop and walk back..

Back in the days, blacks risked their lives to sit in the front of the bus. Now, they love sitting in the back.

It was too late, I assumed the bus would stop but it didn't. It was also rush hour so it was packed, couldn't exactly get the bus to stop and reverse a bit

Re: Chat Thread
Once i went to my mates in Tarleton and i had no idea of the area and ended up getting off about 4 miles from the place we were supposed to meet due to a mix up in communication.
I ended up running along a dual carriageway trying to get there
Eventually my mate phoned for a taxi thankfully.

I once thought there wasn't a stop before mine so pressed the button and it was just as we hit a stop. Bus driver broke abruptly and catapulted me to the floor. (Was in the front seat.) I then got off too.

I was on a bus before, I got on, so did some other people, it stopped at a few bus stops, some people got on, others got off, it carried on doing this for about 20 minutes until it reached my destination.

Re: Chat Thread
I hate having to get the bus, it's insanely over priced. And there's no stops closer than a 20 minute walk to my house which is a right pain in the arse. They always turn up late so the timetable may as well not be published, it's a complete gamble if it will turn up at all sometimes.
Last time I used the bus was to go to college when I was still over the drink drive limit, overslept rushed like mad to get to the stop to make the 7.47 bus, didn't turn up till 8.15 so I could have had time for a shower and some food at home.
