Might as well become an accountant then.Glen Damon wrote:I want to pursue a boring occupation to fill the final time slot of every day of what is going to be my boring life, it just fits the bill.SBSP wrote:
Calc & probability are my mathematical strong points . I'm doing Pure Math which doesn't involve any specialization. Not sure about economics, but I think I have an idea of what stats would go for.
Well, calculus is a must up to multiple variable stuff.
Might need some linear and non-linear programming.
Then all the probability classes. The applied stuff is easy enough, but the theoretical stuff is a bit involved.
That didn't sound as comprehensive as I thought.
Perhaps. I just feel like going for economics would give me a broader range of options following university. It somewhat works as a pre-law degree, so I could follow that path, or I could just focus on the financing side of it. I heard that statisticians get paid well, but I have no idea what that job would entail.SBSP wrote:Might as well become an accountant then.Glen Damon wrote:I want to pursue a boring occupation to fill the final time slot of every day of what is going to be my boring life, it just fits the bill.
I can't really think of something witty or funny to reply to this, but I also don't want to not acknowledge this nice thing you've said about me. But from the impression I get from your posts I'd agree.Sean wrote:Bogdan I really do think we would be the best of friends.
Nah, I wasn't the first to say it. I'd remember if I came up with something as brilliant as that.Ché Guayaba wrote:Wasn't it you Bogdan?Dagbon wrote:

I feel physically sick at the thought.
i will, but my opinion will be totally invalid because no matter how good it actually is, i will always say it is good to make me feel better about not wasting my moneycrump wrote:Tell me if it's good Ed.

It would be better if there was an apocalypse that just involved anyone who wears a snapback gets melted.
