When did they tell you they were going to do this? usually takes a few days to go into your bank account

crump i am in your exact situation, laptop is atrocious, and cant afford new one so want to get a tablet for now.

I can do with my laptop, found out how to speed it up, and as Mal said, it's only going to be used for Word Processing and PowerPoints at University.

The iPad is bullshit, Apple fanboys man.

Apparently the Surface is total wank too.

Nexus seems perfect. Small, easy to navigate, office coming to it.

who told you the surface is crap? I hear such a mix bag of people talking about the surface, but noone will ever say why its bad other than the app store. This guy today was saying things take so long to load on the surface, but i've checked up on that and they are just as quick as the iPad
