Videogame Music

Anyone listen to tracks from videogames? I don't mean songs that simply supplement the game like Fifa but from an original score. I've recenly started paying attention to them and actively seeking them out.









Anybody have any favorites?

My type of video game music. Recommend you have a good listen, the japanese really know what they're doing in this department.

Damn straight. I even used to listen to a bit of J-pop a couple of years ago.

Btw, Shadow of the Colossus is probably one of the best games I've ever played. To think it was on the PS2.

Jesper Kid is the only videogame composer I actually know simply because I enjoyed the music of the Hitman Series so much.

I only pay attention to the ones of FIFA. But the following is a good one...

When you get game music as geniusly composed as this, then it beats any other genre of music imo.

So, who in your eyes are the best video game composers ever?



I will say Stewart Copeland (Spyro) and Tsukasa Tawada (Pokemon)
