Re: 50 goals by Theo Walcott.
I love Walcott. 50 goals in about 4/5 seasons as a Right Winger? Fantastic. Going to get even better when he joins a club that realises he's a striker too. I'd rather him stay at Arsenal though, if Liverpool are favourites to sign him.

Is what the commentator says at 2:18 real life?

I can only see him signing a new contract with Arsenal though.

I had no idea Walcott had so many goals. He's only 23 too. It's amazing how successful he is despite often being criticized for "lacking a football brain"

I wish Wenger would play him down the middle.
He just screams Thierry Henry esque.

Re: 50 goals by Theo Walcott.
I hope he gets his chance as a centre forward, but realistically I don't think he'll be successful. He's got great pace and decent finishing ability but what happens when we come up against a team that defends very deep (as most teams do against us)? His dribbling is very so-so, he can't drop deep and offer something creatively, he offers nothing aerially, he's not a good long distance shooter and I can't imagine that with his physique he'd offer good hold-up play. Maybe he'll discover a different dimension to his game once he plays as a striker, but I just cannot envisage it at all.

You just described Javier Hernandez.BladeGunner wrote:I hope he gets his chance as a centre forward, but realistically I don't think he'll be successful. We should play Podolski and Theo as right forward and left forward and allow them to come in more.

Yes. Ever since he was a kid he's been massively overrated. You just started supporting Arsenal or something?

There were high hopes for him because he was a promising youngster, but for several years now he's been criticised extensively. I don't know a single Arsenal fan who overrates him.
