I personally think the gameplay was great the Connor was too black and white and the lack of tall/fancy buildings made the setting(as beautiful as it is) boring.

Are you disappointed by AC3, Kuled? I remember you of all people were super psyched for this game.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3
Oh I loved it, I absolutely loved the game. But every game has it's flaws I suppose, I barely roamed the rooftops because of the guards barely giving you a chance before they kick off Frontier was great with it's tree running and the hunting, I really enjoyed the game. Did you finish it? No one here has so far and the AC forums are just whinging about glitches and game mechanics and how Haytham is better than Connor (complete BS)
- Ending:
- To me, the ending wasn't so bad, it just lacked the right execution in emotion. Like..Desmond being nervous, Desmond being more emotional with the team rather than just saying "GO!" I mean, where was Shaun and Rebecca in that? It's like they said, yeah whatever, save the world I don't care if you die, they literally forgot everything about them in the ending. I'm not saying what Desmond chose was wrong but THIS
Would have been an AMAZING sequel, the Templars still existing and the bleeding effect would be actually RELEVANT for Desmond. I loved the Desmond missions, that would've been a great game imo, maybe Desmond's still alive. Who knows? As for Connor I loved the story, the previous games always had a happy ending in a way, but this didn't. It showed the true nature of the harsh reality of life, as Juno put it "You strive for something that does not exist" I really loved it. At the end Connor was in NY and saw slaves being traded, perhaps that was the hint for the next game, I wonder who would control Connor in the animus if Desmond is dead (they've been planning to cut him off anyway) maybe William will? And Juno is now free, wonder if the Templars and Assassins join up together to stop her, that would be cool. We still have to see the Grand Master of the modern day Templars aswell.

I think I was quite PC these time around His Mother was black and his Father white.
Honestly though, his character development was shit and I didn't like his personality. He's like the Anakin Skywalker of the 17th century.

- Spoiler:
- The ending was a complete let down. Desmond alone can't carry the story and it will always end in disappointment because he is such a poor character. I honestly reckon that we'll end up seeing his memories trapped in the animus(again, sort of) and he has to 'rebuild' himself by re-living the past with Altair/Ezio/Connor in order for his body to become whole again in the present time.
What do you think of that theory, Kuled?

I liked Connor's personality actually, it was better than the stereotype Ezio and Nathan Drake, a badass and a hit with the ladies (I liked old Ezio the most now that you mention it cause he was mature) I think it was great that they put him as confused as well, we've seen the Templars being built up as these evil people but when you stop and think about it, they strive for the same goal. I actually stopped and starting thinking in this, are the assassins doing the right thing?

- Spoiler:
- Another sync-nexus bullshit? Fuck that. Maybe he's like Subject 16 trapped in the animus, there still is the Brotherhood ending which has questions "There is one that would accompany you through the gate" and 16's truth message "Eve..the key..her DNA" "The sun...YOUR SON" those still have to be explored. I just hope they stop with all these mysterious and questions and actually start giving us answers before the series becomes tedious, it would be extremely annoying if that happens, it's a brilliant story but they have to stop with the fucking cliff hangers

Re: Assassin's Creed 3
The cliff hangers are in Assassins Creed for a reason, Kuled. Because the devs don't know themselves where they are going. AC1 was supposed to be a one off and the 'eagle vision' blood writing stuff was simply to prepare if it was successful or not.

Nahh, they always said AC was meant to be a trilogy (looks like it will be more now) I think they just don't know how to end a game well

Did they fuck prepare for a trilogy I'll believe that they wanted 3 games, but they had no idea what the story was going to be 5 years in advance.
By the way I find the multiplayer better than Fifa at the moment

I haven't liked connor so far (sequence 10ish), a story about his father would've possibly been better.

I know right? I hated Multiplayer in ACB and ACR but it's really good this year, especially Wolf Pack.
I've ignored FIFA for 2 months now, might as well sell it. Worst edition in the series for me. Wish you guys were PS3, especially you and Jay Wolfpack would've been fun with you.

I always pick the girl with the big boobies
I like it because it's so much different to anything else online. The tedious gameplay is why I currently hate games like Call of Duty, while on AC it's a different story every time and it genuinely takes a lot of skill to get it right.
Not a fan of Wolfpack though. Seems I always play with 8 year olds who run about and stab people.

I agree. They hardly give u a chance to roam on the rooftops at all. They're the most alert guards in AC history. There's not enough opportunities for stealth kills.

- Spoiler:
- In terms of the ending, I thought it was very underwhelming. I enjoyed the Haytham fight and chasing Charles Lee, but after that I felt the Connor went out on a bit of a whimper. The end of the Desmond story was actually better, mainly because it was a more surprising.
I loved the game though. Fantastic gameplay, definitely the most fun game in the series.

- What, Templar's Creed? He was an assassin only till 13. I liked Haytham at the start but when Connor met him and he killed 3 guys for no reason, not to mention how he threatened that captain with death in the beginning...It's very un-assassin like, good character yeah, but still a douche. I don't like him, if they're going to do that they should do Achilles, I liked him a lot.

- Haytham at the start was very different to the one at the end. When haytham went with braddock(sp?) and braddock was killing for no reason. Haytham was against it. 20 years later and Haytham has done a 360. Sees people as material. I am curious to know what makes someone do that.
Also charles lee, he was an asshole at the end but when he first joined the templars he seemed like a stand up guy.
Say what you want about Haytham, but he was far more interesting.
I'd be down for a game as a templar which might be possible in the next one. The templars and assassins will need to team up to beat TOWCB.

- Spoiler:
- I'd hate to see a game with Templars after what I've read about what they've done..especially the WW2 one, it was disturbing and showed how much the Templars really are awful, they want peace..at too great a cost. I think if the Templars do get their New World they'd be exactly like TWCB, no free will, enslaved to do everything they want... nothing would be good. Those 700 people in the world who have the talent for eagle vision and immunity to the Apple would be found and killed and no one would be immune to their power. The Assassins aren't so perfect either, they kill people as well but their ways are more...noble than the Templar's ways. Haytham really, is the only reasonable Templar in the series so far.

I think the fact that haytham can exist as a templar and not be so evil at the start, it shows that its possible the templars don't have to be 'evil'. It'd just be interesting to see it from their point of view for a bit.

It's not tough, but I did die a few times, I never died in the Ezio games because it's so easy. I'm not saying this is tough but it's a big improvement from the last 3 games.

Yeah courier missions are odd. And so too are the assassination contracts. You just go up to a guy and kill him. In AC2 and ACB Lorenzo and Machiavelli gave you a message and a story as to why these people need to be killed, on this one it's just..kill this dude. I was disappointed with that.
