Why would it be a sure thing? He lost that other trophy to Iniesta earlier this year and I thought Ronaldo should've won it. Wouldn't be surprised if Ronaldo won this one.

Messi will win, probably impossible for him to find a cap now Adays with a head that big

I'd like to see Falcao or Casillas get it but it will probably be Messi. He deserves it.

Messi deserves it, but I'm not so sure if he will win it after Iniesta won that European award earlier.

He had a very good EURO campaign, which is pretty much why he's there tbh.

He didn't even have a very good EURO campaign. He had a very good game against Germany and that was it.

Very good? He only had a good performance against Germany.

It seemed like less of a loss than journalists wanting to honor one of the Spanish players


Personally want to see Xavi get it, but Messi is fine also.

He came on in the 74th minute and that was his only noteworthy contribution. In contrast, he had average to poor games against Spain (twice), Croatia and England. So yeah, I definitely wouldn't say that he had a very good EURO.

Should be Ronaldo. Only player to keep up with Messi and he actually led his team to the League
