The only half-decent nightclub we have here is Yates'.

    Pub it is. Neutral

I prefer pubs to clubs anyway. Pubs don't stay open very late though so if you want to continue your night you have to go to a club.

Pubs seem too chilled, if I'm going out I wanna go out out and make it worth it, you know? Could only see myself in the pub for football or proper social drinking occasions.

    Hit me.

Got their prospectus the other day too, looks fucking awesome! The business school is unreal too!

There's little batches of bars/clubs in different places. Some in town, some in deansgate and then a couple around the university.

Is the business school in the same building as Law? If so, yeah that building is really really nice, only finished building it at the start of this year. I'm in there on Thursdays at the moment, my favorite classroom because you can watch cars go past and also see a lot of the city out the window. Chat Thread - Page 8 279869

Yeah! Need 'Oxford Road' as well.

I see what they've done with the business management, trying to make the building look 'businessy' Laughing all sleek and that.

Would you reccomend applying for accomodation near your teaching rooms or are they near enough the same distance from each other? Business is in the All Saints Campus (FUCK CHESHIRE Chat Thread - Page 8 70955 )

Also, is it hard to navigate around the campus?

I do like the look of the various Uni halls too, they look sleek and welcoming! Reasonable prices too.

Need Oxford Road? What do you mean? Laughing

I'm in the All Saints campus too, it's pretty easy to get around. I would go for a near University hall, maybe Cambridge halls or something. Wouldn't worry about getting there as much as getting somewhere fun/good.

I would imagine the culture around clubs is very different in America to be honest.

    Why don't you drink?
I just don't. I used to drink a lot. Then I realized I didn't really like it, I just did it because everyone around me bordered on being alcoholic. So I just decided to stop drinking full stop.

Bars are where it's at Cool

Relaxed but clubby feel, and you can still talk and socialise and have a dance too.

I hate clubs personally, full of sweaty horrible BO people. Easy to pull in clubs though I guess. I hate it when the lights turn on at the end of the night though and you see you've pulled yourself a mare

He doesn't come out of his room and complains about the noise, we played a good prank on him today but it won't make that much sense if I try to explain it.

Ted wrote:I couldnt imagine anything worse than commuting to Uni
I nearly made that terrible error, people who commute don't know literally anybody at uni.

It would probably save so much money though, except the banter in a student house would probably be unreal.

Take your pick, saving money and not knowing that many people or spending a bit of money on housing and having a fantastic time.

I'm confused guys, when you say 'commuting' to Uni?

What's the difference of staying in a Uni halls that is a 30 minute walk, to that of a 5 minute walk? How would you not know anybody?

Also, is it worth just going on Google Maps and applying to the closest Uni halls to where my lectures will be? shifty

Niggas in poorest here. So a lot of the local kids commute. Especially for the Cal State schools that often cater to the less financially well off students in the area.
