Any of you been to Kilkenny?
Went to Ireland last month and loved it, my Mum's Irish so I stayed with family. It's so opening, welcome and friendly and simple things like shop staff actually give a shit about you too!
Only thing is it's so damn expensive! Fucking Euro!
I went to a lovely shopping centre called "MacDonaugh's Junction" though, awesome place.

Facebook chat?
Nah going bed in a min. But in a nutshell, new girl at work started about a month ago, started talking to her just to make her feel welcome and more relaxed. She was dead chatty and we talk loads whenever we can, and there's none of that awkwardness that you can sometimes get. Just free-flowing convo. She came into work today on her day off, and I saw her and she looked stunning. This was the first time id seen her out of work uniform. I served her and she actually asked for my number too so we've been texting all night and I've gradually noticed friendly banter turn to flanter. So I dunno mf. There's just the problem of the other girl I've been seeing kind of.

Re: Chat Thread
I was in from about 10 til close, then went to domino's with loads of fellow work colleagues, ended up breaking a mirror in the bathroom while I was there. Some bloke from holylands got in our taxi as well completely randomly. Found £20 at the bar in Ollie's though, was well pleased. Although the girl at the bar was taking forever to serve me so I was like 'come on fuck sake' quite loudly, and she got mad at me, then I felt bad and apologized

It's so weird hearing people say the name of bars/clubs from the towns they're from
I go places with names like Baa Bar, Side Bar, Cucamaras, Bzr, Forum, Bluebell, Rock City etc
They sound like normal bar names

I've heard it's one of the worse clubs to go to, haven't experienced it myself though, yet.
I do have a wristband for it though.

I can't remember the clubs in Slough.
At University places, in the cities are all the nightclubs in like a big strip or scattered everywhere? I know places like Broadway in Birmingham are on a strip.

I love Baa Bar
We have a Penthouse too. It's just an old lace factory converted into a nightclub which sells stupidly expensive drinks.

I do not know any of the names for clubs around here, I do not have any plans of ever entering one of those cesspits of immorality.

I'm socially awkward so I don't like clubs or bars to begin with (I also don't drink anymore so there's that too) but a lot of the bars and clubs here are full of pretentiousness.
I prefer the ones that are full of desperation instead.

There's little batches of bars/clubs in different places. Some in town, some in deansgate and then a couple around the university.
Is the business school in the same building as Law? If so, yeah that building is really really nice, only finished building it at the start of this year. I'm in there on Thursdays at the moment, my favorite classroom because you can watch cars go past and also see a lot of the city out the window.

I would imagine the culture around clubs is very different in America to be honest.
Why don't you drink?

Yeah! Need 'Oxford Road' as well.
I see what they've done with the business management, trying to make the building look 'businessy' all sleek and that.
Would you reccomend applying for accomodation near your teaching rooms or are they near enough the same distance from each other? Business is in the All Saints Campus (FUCK CHESHIRE )
Also, is it hard to navigate around the campus?
I do like the look of the various Uni halls too, they look sleek and welcoming! Reasonable prices too.
