You'll get shown all the controls and how everything works first. You'll have to have your eyes tested too by reading a number plate 25 metres away. If you can't read it, it's actually against the law for you to drive. You'll have to get some glasses brah. But after that you'll probably do a bit of driving in a quiet area just going round a block, and if you're good enough you might be able to drive home yourself. If not your instructor will drive you back.

Sounds good man! I'm looking forward to it!

Times have changed, driving tests were a lot more lenient back in the day. Especially if you live in a busy city they are incredibly strict. Failure rates are like 5x higher in Toronto than where I live (about an hour off of Toronto). So there are always people that come all the way from Toronto to down here to take their driving tests.

Did you see about your holding company not paying tax? Apparently Romanov has not paid around 1.75million and HMRC have set an 11 day trial for next month.

    Just letting you know.

I know, hope we don't go right into the centre especially since I've not drove for 2 weeks with the instructor and my family both being on holiday. Plus town's a mess anyway with all the tram shit.

After the first few months driving is just a massive pain. Total waste of money, if I didn't need a car to get to work every day I'd sell it in a heartbeat. I don't enjoy it in the slightest it just pisses me off.

I also have an 03 plate Golf, must be brothers. Mine's silver though, 5 door with a 1.6 engine. Also the 'Match' edition, not sure what extras that gives it, it has AC and a CD player but they might come on all Golfs so I dunno. Got alloys too but they're fairly shit.

Yeah mines the Match edition too Laughing

How much insurance do you pay? When I was looking for a Golf, I looked at a few 1.6's and I was getting quotes cheaper than what I was paying on my old 1.1 Peugeot 206 somehow. Struggled to find a 1.6 in black though, and the one I did go to look at was in pretty bad condition on the outside so ended up with a 1.4. Had to travel to Bury for it, got to see the mighty Gigg Lane on the way.
