We have two and they are both used for xboxes alone. You only need a TV license when you use it for live TV.

No, he just treated me like I was a liar. I wouldn't mind if it was just a friendly call, but I resent being intimidated into buying something I don't need.

I'm lucky to an extent. I live in my auntie's house rent free and the uni halls are literally a two minute walk from where I live so I spend a lot of time there. So I get to live in a nice house with all the luxuries and I get to experience the student lifestyle with all the cunts on my course. I love it this way.

Accommodation is alright, try and get into one of the Uni accommodations rather than the private halls though, in my experience they are a better time. You can visit them and see for yourself though. If you're getting a loan like most people, I wouldn't bother with a gap year to earn money
Thanks
I've decided not to take a gap year now. I looked at the accommodation and it looks like about £95 a week.
I will probably have about £500 to take to Uni after holiday and driving etc.
Is that enough?

I took £400 in my bank to university to mainly cover me till I got my loan and I thought I had an accommodation deposit to put down at the start but didn't(turns out you pay it with first rent installment). I'm doing fine with money at the moment, hopefully should have about £300+ left at Christmas for when I go home over the holiday to cover me there.
I took a gap year and did nothing really productive with it but that's just me(just worked part time). Honestly, alot of people I know are starting to get a few hours a week of work at uni to supplement their loan especially those who didn't get a high amount of maintenance loan/grant so I don't think working for a year is necessary.
You can build up your CV pretty well at university too alongside just doing your degree,i've only been here like a month so far but had multiple opportunities to volunteer/get information about part time work etc.
Plus the social life is great. Had some great nights already mainly society socials which are a great way to meet people

Currently, trying to put off doing my first assignment though lol so thought I'd check out this place see whats going on.

What? I was just wondering what it is used for/what it does?
I wasn't implying anything, I searched celtic football club and it said dissolved so I was wondering what the company who own you is called, thanks.

Awww, cute.
Up until 1994 we were called "THE CELTIC FOOTBALL AND ATHLETIC COMPANY LIMITED" but when we became a PLC we changed our company name to "Celtic PLC"
Celtic didn't want anyone using the name so bought a company name called Pacific Shelf and changed their name to "THE CELTIC FOOTBALL AND ATHLETIC COMPANY LIMITED"
It stops anyone else registering that name. Celtic PLC is the original company started in 1897.
I'm alway here if you want to learn new things, so thanks for asking.

I don't think I'm going to take a gap year now It may put me off going to Uni and just be not worth it and be with younger people.
I think I'm going to Manchester Metropolitan. That's my first choice.

I got my pay at work today for the month. They decided to give it all to me in 10 pound bills. I felt like Walter White and was a bit paranoid walking in the streets.

I was looking out of the window at work today and I randomly saw a DHL guy fighting with an about 50-year-old man. Apparently their cars crashed before, it was fucking hilarious to watch how they pushed and tried to punch each other
Such a shame I could barely record it (shit mobile too), had to pick up the work phone then too
