Re: FA Cup Thread
Tbh think Henderson would be a better captain than Suarez, not that it matters for one game

Suarez as captain. I would have thought that Jones or Skrtel would have been given it.samiz wrote:Full team: Jones, Wisdom, Robinson, Coates, Skrtel, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Borini, Sturridge, Suarez (captain)
That defence

Re: FA Cup Thread
Nothing is wrong with that defense.. good to see Coates and Robinson getting a game, Wisdom is competent, and I'm sure Skrtel is good enough for Oldham ffs
Edit: Suarez was Ajax captain, nothing wrong with him as captain

Re: FA Cup Thread
Thank God, Dempsey. Wonder if he'll still be taken off, assuming it was going to be him.
2-1
EDIT: Guess not.

It may seem that way but I think you cannot be completely sure what will happen and the difference in stadium size likely was the real issue. Griffin Park has a capacity of a little over 12,000 whereas Stamford Bridge seats 41,837. I cannot see any issues occuring at the replay.
EDIT: Thinking about things again this kickoff time was likely done for television purposes since none of today's games overlap.

Re: FA Cup Thread
I'm failing to see the link between them having a small ground and it being a 12:00 KO.
There's 3 televised games today (12, 2 and 4). One of them had to KO so early so people have the option to watch all of them.

Re: FA Cup Thread
well west brom vs Aston Villa was scheduled for a 5:15pm kick off time the other week. This was awful for the police but sky sports can dictate these thingsWeather130 wrote:PrideOfTheMidlands wrote:weather that doesn't really matter I doubt it's a highly fierce derby

I bet you were hoping they would score so you would have an excuse to complain

Re: FA Cup Thread
Stamp on Jones's head now, only a yellow card? The team should step off the pitch and refuse to play, I can see a few lives being ended here.

They usually wear blue and white home kits but this season they've gone fully blue.PrideOfTheMidlands wrote:i'm sure oldham used to have a white home kit. Have they changed colour scheme?
