Fuck off
Why the fuck is Braintree on over the Met Police game?
Tyledsly and Townsend were probably creaming themselves at the potential puns.

I like the early rounds. It's because that's the only time we are in it.Danny wrote:FA Cup's a pile of shite until the 3rd round anyway.

Re: FA Cup Thread
The 3rd round is brilliant for fun and games when like a fucking postman who works as an accountant on the side whilst playing for his Saturday team Tomson Rovers scores a winner against Wigan or some crazy shit
After the 3rd round it just gets all

I quite enjoyed Southport - Sheffield Wed a few seasons back.
I really hope we win it this year. 9 years since we have..

Re: FA Cup Thread
We actually have quite a nice record of getting to the third round.
In 2005, when we were in League Two. We took the lead at Stamford Bridge but then lost 3-1. The year after we took the lead at the City of Manchester but lost 3-1. We lost to Man City again a couple of years ago 4-2.

I'd say the Met Police v Crawley game isn't on as the Met Police have no fans, and Crawley are a very small unpopular league one side and are expected to win easily.
The Braintree game will at least be competitive, but I would have chosen Chelmsford v Colchester over it as it would be a BSS side at home to their league one local rivals.

Radford wrote:not good, we've raised over 20k in fan donations so far. Fundraising events will kick in soon and we haven't had a home game since the news broke about how much of a mess we are in. Hopefully we can raise alot more in the next 7 days or the taxman will come knocking with us unprepared.
Turner didn't pay his tax bills and then left, fate that the FA Cup brings him back to Edgar Street this Saturday. The atmosphere will be quite nasty i think...
Ah good luck mate, I will put a donation in over this week.
Hopefully there will be a big crowd for the Shrewsbury game although it will be a high police bill...

True but we might as well use it for the first round as well if that's alright with you Weather?

I am hoping the Met Police make it to the 3rd round and draw Chelsea since that will insure the racism crap is properly policed.

lol, How bad were we? Apparently we dominated some of the 1st half but collapsed in the 2nd half.
And was it a penalty?

First half you were the better team with the blonde bloke with facial hair causing problems. You started 2nd half ok too until Gillingham scored. Stonewall pen.Trent wrote:lol, How bad were we? Apparently we dominated some of the 1st half but collapsed in the 2nd half.

Barcham got applauded before and when he got subbed too!

Re: FA Cup Thread
Today we were fortunate to win 3-0. Yate hit the post, crossbar from a free kick and had a goal disallowed. In total there were 889 Yate fans but I swear most of them were Bristol Rovers supporters. Zebroski got a lot of stick from them and some of their fans had a police escort after the game. Was a great cup tie and Yate responded well to a comical own goal, where the defender kicked the ball against his own player before it rolled past the keeper.
Into round 2. Another non league side will do. Hereford or Hastings United in the next round would be nice. Failing that any league 2 side at home.

We would have probably won if we had Clarke and Prutton. But they were ineligible.
