FIFA 13

Third time the game has froze for me when I hit start during a career mode match... It's not like the game even freezes its more like the controller just stops working on the game. Obviously my controller isn't dead, but I can press the PS button and you can see the game isn't frozen because the rotating animation in the background.

Holy shit, just had a crazy game vs Man City (career mode). Was down 4-2 in like the 60th minute. Sigurdsson long-shot to bring it to 4-3 (his second of the game). In the 80th minute diving header by Sigurdsson to bring it to 4-4, completing his hat-trick. And in the 90th minute Adebayor tap in to win it.

Sigurdsson has been crazy good for me, 14 goals and 12 assists in 44 appearance as a rotation player/sub. Going to start playing him over Lennon/Defoe (depending on the formation) now.

Barnet promoted and into my second season.

Finished 5th and won play-offs.

This happens when I go to play H2H seasons.

That's the most notable without being on the game.

Gillet remained at 79 the entire first season despite being 33, decreased at the start of season 2. I signed Nakhi Wells from league 2 Bradford City was amazed with his progress in one season and he has the speedster trait and has around 85 strength, ideal for the final 15 minutes.

Started scouting more now in hope I get some real gems but with a small budget my scouts are nowhere near close to what I'd like.

Rubin Kazan are a heck of a 4 star team.

Can't do a career mode save without it randomly freezing

What's the best way to defend from crosses like the button you press etc if anybody knows would be a great help cheers.
I usually press x or triangle but both aren't that effective for me.

I use square always if its just a direct cross and the ball is infront of me. If the ball is in the air behind me I use circle.

I don't really like using the clear button to defend crosses all the time because you can't really control where it goes, and chances are the game will make you clear it right into the path of a player. So I only use it when it's an emergency basically, also it's good to use it when the ball is between you and the net because: 1) You don't have to think about aiming away from goal when clearing it, and 2) It enables your players to do acrobatic clearances.

The update screwed up first touch control. It was perfect before, now it's just gimmicky.

Thinking of making a career mode with a championship team. Thinking Blackburn, for all you Championship fans who (in your unbiased opinion) do you think plays the most attractive football?

Might just go with Wolves, Bolton, Or Leicester since they all have large budgets, Wolves have the largest actually.

It's amazing how easy it is to score if you just dribble straight to the corner flag and send in a cross without stopping.

Realistically it should be an off-balance cross that goes off target.. but in this game it's a perfect cross to the head of your striker/cf , 90% of the time.

I now realize why people do this shit all the time.. and why I've stopped going to the corner for a cross, stopping and preparing the pass.. it's pointless and the game mechanics punish you for it.

Just sprint and cross, it just fucking works. Defenders will be out of position or stand around, and your attackers will go for the goal and score.

It's my new favorite thing to do.

Think I've heard this before somewhere, don't recall having it myself though. But I did play an online FUT match where all but one of my players were completely invisible (think it was like my LB that was visible), had to rely on my mini-map.

Sorted now had to reload fifa.

Attractive football? Not Blackburn, they play hoofball. Always have tbh.

Bolton are the same, although Wolves are a decent shout. Played some nice stuff when Kightly etc were there.

Plenty of other teams like that, Huddersfield, Forest, Blackpool, Burnley, Cardiff are nice, Hull & Brighton as well, just not so much.

Leicester are top of the table, but I've never really watched them if I'm honest (this season, they've changed manager).

Bolton used to play really good football a couple of seasons ago.

They did. Used to have a few decent players though, suppose they're just trying anything at the moment because they've been so bad, although maybe new manager Dougie Freedman is the man to change that, who knows?

If you play a seasons match as Jets you are guaranteed to face them.

Brought in Kayal and Jenkinson. Starting line-up. Kayals physical stats are ridiculous btw. All of them are green/dark green, besides balance and reactions which are both mid 70s.

I don't think he can be put in UT.

Does anyone else have a certain order they want players to be in? I usually do it for subs, but in CM I will do it for the reserves sometimes. This is my schematic.

I have a dilemma. I bought Nakhi Wells in the summer for around £2m. He's been amazing for half a season and now the offers are coming in he's valued at £3.7m and I've had an offer for £8m from Sevilla. He's only rated 74 and according to fifafinatic and sofifa his potential is 75.

Shall I sell him?

On my sub bench I always sort them by colour (ie. Attackers, Mids, Def) but not really in a particular order. On my reserves I sort them by overall.
