The AI is so inconsistent on this for me. Just lost a game 7-1 and I'd been battering every team I faced 4-1, 3-1, etc. Sometimes they just feel like ridiculous, completing 50 yard through balls perfectly, and controlling them perfectly on a full sprint. That game I had 9 shots 7 on target and 1 goal, with 53% possession. Obviously not dominant but still not like I should have lost 7-1. They had 6 attempted shots, 6 shot on target. Their first goal came from me clearing the ball off the attacker's face and in. Somehow Neuer, the best goalkeeper on the game arguably, managed to go without a save the entire game. One of the goals was a chip from like a 179 degree angle which if he stood still probably would have hit him in like his chest, but for some reason he did like a sideways dive and it went right over him.

Started a new game as Swansea to take a break from my Arsenal save. Brought in Holden from Bolton for £2m and Mbaye or something as cover for LB on loan with an option to buy for £3m. Drew my opening game to QPR 1-1 and won 2-0 against West Ham, so I'm currently 5th.

Still trying to find a slider set that suits my playing style and makes the game more realistic and natural. Tried a few in the last few days and they've all had problems which sucked the fun from the game. Really annoying Sad

Tried this one? Works for me. I only have the sliders for injuries very low, because I have so much bad luck when it comes to injuries.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I hate it when if I'm 2-0 down, and I score to make it 2-1, the commentator acts as if it was 1-1 and he's just scored and says I am now behind when I was behind anyway instead of saying a comeback is on.

Doing well with Swansea, sitting 6th after 12 games so far. Had some great performances (Wins over Chelsea 2-0 and Everton 4-2) and some shitty ones (Lost 4-1 to Southampton and 4-2 to City despite going 2-0 up). Really enjoying it at the moment.

    Team is as follows:

    Vorm [81]
    Rangel [73] - Chico [76] - Williams [77] - Taylor [75]
    Holden [76] - Britton [75]
    Dyer [79] - Michu [77] - Routledge [74]
    Graham [77]

    Subs: Tremmel [72], Mbaye [73], Bartley [71], Gower [65], De Guzman [76], Hernandez [77], Moore [69]

Standout players so far would be Michu, Holden and Dyer. Holden has been a super buy in midfield. He and Britton can dominate and control the midfield pretty easily against the lower teams and they both put in a good shift against the bigger teams.

In Jan I'm gonna look for another winger I think as Routledge is on the old side and not overly good and Hernandez has been very hit and miss when I've played him was thinking of trying for Sterling on loan or to buy, reckon he'd be pretty good.

Also going to be on the lookout for a backup GK, probably try for Butland or Martinez as a long term understudy to Vorm.

Ended up losing that game too Sad Should have been a penalty and a red.

Currently get my ass kicked by Arsenal in my CM Neutral 4-1 to them at 56 minutes. They've had like 65% possession Laughing Just can't get near them.

Decided to play this again after a 2 week break, had a break because of a game where I was leading 3-0 and got disconnected. And this was a fucking mistake, I'm Argentina, He's Germany - I'm like 10 times better than him and 2-0 up after the 1st half and then he puts a low cross in and my retard goalkeeper automatically starts to clear it but hits it against my defender, own goal 2-1. And then in the 88th minute my shit defending results in him scoring the equalizer. Game ends, PS3 off, Controller flies across the room - fuck this shit. Not playing Fifa again for a while.

Might want to buy an older player in Jan, because talents in CPU teams (except your loanies) don't grow during the season, if I recall right. They get points added at the end of the season/beginning of the second season.

I have Butland and he's not very good at the start. Not just because of his stats, but he somehow makes some weird errors now and then. Smithies was better for me. As for wingers, Redmond is a good prospect, pretty cheap too. Gueye is decent for starters and becomes pretty good. The same counts for Forrest, he'll become one of your best wingers, but he has a pretty long contract, so that might push up the price. Iturbe always works wonders. Fast as hell, but crappy stamina and he's not that good at crossing or shooting, though his dribbling is pretty good at the beginning. Piatti is awesome aswell. Anyway, I'd wait to buy any talents until you're in season 2.

    Where's Ki btw?

He picked up a long term injury for me, out for another 2 weeks I think. He'd replace Gower on the bench and rotate with the CMs.

Didn't know that about the youth either. I'll stick a few on my shortlist until the end of the season and get them then.

Sold Agustien (wants to leave) for £1m and part exchanged Hernandez for Emre Çolak and no money. I also brought in Pogba on loan as cover to CM now I'm one less in that area.

Got a good idea of where I need to buy next season now too (GK, LB, CAM, RW, LW and ST) mostly backup though. Going to try and make it as youthful as possible so I don't need to buy after few seasons.

Career Mode does my head in as usual this year, Sick of seeing:

    Mascherano to United
    Tevez to Inter
    Falcao or Gomez to Chelsea...

Same old every save I do, get's very boring..
