On FIFA 12 Chelsea would always buy quality CAMs and put them on their bench. They'd get Kagawa, Hernandez, and Kaka all the time and put them on their bench because they don't actually have a CAM.

Started a career. Won my second match, pressed advance, and it froze.

I think somebody needs to make the Suarez chant for the game. He is unstoppable on this game.

I think 'custom' chants are chants you add yourself.

You have to download some audio files and put them in the game. You can even put in any old one off youtube.

Is anyone else playing that interactive World Cup thing on 'online modes'?

Basically everyone's team no matter who. Has the same player stats and speeds. No skills either.

I'm running with Arsenal and smoking people. But it's kind of stupid lol.

probably gonna leave this for a little, EA servers being as shitty as ever and the game freezing a lot, 3 seperate points during a career mode and twice in a row before entering a game in H2H seasons. Needs patching desperately, cannot be my machines fault as i just switched to a new PS3 a month ago.

Not on PS3 yet, tried on my free copy for PC (mouse and keyboard playing is a special kind of hell ) they do seem to gain skill quicker than Fifa 12 which was absolutely crap as the only way to get them up quickly then was if they played big clubs all the time.

On PS3 i've just been doing Virtual pro a bit only had the game for a few days and when my brother haven't been hugging the ps3 i've been busy.

Halfway through my first season with Tottenham (I play every game) and I must say that they're very enjoyable to play with. I'm currently third in the league behind Manchester City and Chelsea (who are way ahead of me). I've come to find that the long range shooting and dribbling attributes are the most important on FIFA this year, which is why Dembele and Cabaye have been my best players by a distance. Cabaye's shooting is really a thing of beauty, never seems to produce a poor shot. I recently purchased Ibrahim Mbaye from Inter since Assou-Ekotto isn't that great and also because his stats are absolutely ridiculous for a 17 year old.

What difficulty is everyone playing CM on?

Legendary but I have adjusted sliders slightly.

Delete your game face file, that stops it from crashing.

So for now you pretty much have to choose between having a game face or playing CM. Ultra gay, hope they fix this bug.

World class with adjusted sliders.

I think World Class is perfect if not a bit too easy. But I haven't played with any team over 3.5 stars so if I use a higher rated team it might different.

Use your Ps3 controller on your PC, thats what i do

Don't normally play offline but I've started a new CM with Atletico. Signed Muriel and Susaeta.

It's actually decent this year, I started one on professional, was really enjoying it, but it was stupidly easy. Started again on World Class last night, not played any matches though.

I play world class with no sliders (besides injuries), don't think it needs any this year tbh. Never played with any last year besides the start because I started to read the computer better how they pass.

Played a drop-in match with my pro just now, and there was one of those guys with long red hair and ankle tape on the opposition team. I play as a DM, so in the 2nd half I decided to stay back and just shadow him. Didn't let him do anything. He got the ball two times in the 2nd hlf, and I tackled it away from him both times. When the game ended he sent me a message that said faggot

Was he the type that run at you like a train?

I play as a DM too. I usually play in the anchorman style. Sort of like Chaton with the U-20 squad. It's kinda satisfying when you let people do the work for you and run into you themselves because they don't know how to let go of the sprint button, or you stay in front of the guy don't let him run past and wait until someone comes up from behind and steals the ball away.

My character is slow though so if they do actually beat me I press RB (customized controls, B in default.) repeatedly until a foul is called. I'd expect to get a lot of yellows because of this but I never get awarded any.

Yeah one of those guys.

My pro is a 6'2, so almost by default he is slow. I usually move up just under the attacking mid, but once in a while I just play as an anchor.

What are your custom controls like?

Default except for that button. I like using the "B" button to sending another player that I'm not controlling to pressure the opponent while I pick a spot where I think I'll have a good chance of intercepting the ball if he decides to through ball it to a speedy forward. Even though speed has been downplayed a lot, most players still pick the fastest guy they have and stick him up top. Usually the B button makes you try a standing tackle. A lot of people don't use it but I like using it when I face a player that likes getting the ball and then quickly turning to bomb forward. Works pretty well.

Played against Leon and the guy puts both 90 pace Burbano and Loboa up top, once.
